If you are unable to use regular, fixed route transit because of a disability, becoming ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) certified will give you access to several transportation options that are significantly less expensive than using private, curb to curb shuttles or medical transportation and will reduce the reliance on family or friends to get you around.
Once you have received your ADA card, you can apply for our Intercity Taxi Card Program that provides subsidizes taxi rides for ambulatory and non ambulatory people.
This program ensures ADA paratransit service is reserved for individuals who truly need service in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title 49 Part 37.123.
