The Solano County Intercity Taxi ( ITX) Card program can be used by Qualified ADA (Americans with Disability Act) certified individuals to pay for taxi fare. Also, any Solano County Veteran (ambulatory and non-ambulatory) can use the program to get to Solano County Medical Facilities, Travis AFB, the Martinez VA clinic, the Hume Center and Med Evals/QTR Assessment Center in Concord.
The ITX is issued on a pre-paid PEX debit card. You can use this card like a credit card to pay for taxi rides between transit service areas, but not in your local city (except Benicia, Vallejo, and Suisun City). Eligible members may purchase $100 of taxi card funds for $40 or $20 for low-income certified individuals. To qualify for the low income discount, please fill out the income verification form and email it to Solanomobility@sta.ca.gov or mail it to Solano Mobility, 423 Main Street, Suisun City, CA 94585-2413 .
The ITX cards may be loaded in person or over the phone. It is recommended you schedule 48 hours in advance to ensure your ride.
Wheelchair assessable vehicles are available for individuals that are non-ambulatory. You must schedule ride 24 hours advance.
ITX card purchases are non-refundable. Limitations apply to the amount of fare you may purchase in any given month and vary from city to city. Program details vary. For more information click here.
