Solano Older Adults Medical Trip Concierge Service
Are you having trouble getting to your medical appointments?
Solano Mobility’s Medical Trip Concierge Service Program provides subsidized Uber and Lyft rides through GoGo Grandparent, for Solano County residents to get to and from medical appointments, within Solano County. To qualify you must be aged 60 and older or possess a valid ADA card. Appointments can include trips to the hospital, dentist, chiropractor, pharmacy, etc..
How does the program work?
Once you register with Solano Mobility, the Call Center Representative will provide you the number for GoGo Grandparent, to call, when you are ready to book a ride.
*Must be able to enter and exit a vehicle on your own.

How much is the subsidy?
Solano Mobility will pay 60% of your ride. If you qualify for low income, we will pay 80% of the ride.
How do I pay my portion of the ride?
When you book your ride, you must provide GoGo Grandparent a credit card to put on file.
Can I go to a medical appointment outside of Solano county?
No, rides are only with in Solano County. If you violate these terms, you may be removed from the program.
Do my rides roll over to the next month?
No, you get 20 rides a month. If you do not use them, they will not roll over to the next month.

Travel Training
Want to ride the bus, but don’t know how? Our travel training program provides free training so that you can learn to safely and confidently use public fixed route transit within Solano County. Our friendly travel trainers will meet with you and customize trainings that fit your needs and, they will go with you every step of the way.
You can try Travel Training several ways:
Individual or One on One training –to fit your specific needs
Group or Field Trip trainings – Learn to ride with friends on fun, local excursions
Video Library – See how to ride the bus from the comfort of your own home by using our travel training videos.
Rider’s Guides – Free publications for each Solano County transit operator are available.

Vehicle Share Program
Thanks to funding from the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, the Solano Transportation Authority purchased two wheelchair accessible vans for the Vehicle Share Program. This program would allow the vehicles to be shared amongst multiple non-profits organizations that provide services for older adults and people with disabilities in Solano County. Solano County Intercity Taxi Card Program
The Solano County Intercity Taxi ( ITX) Card program is a flexible option for Qualified ADA (Americans with Disability Act) certified individuals.
The ITX card is issued on a pre-paid PEX debit card. You can use this card like a credit card for taxi rides between transit service areas, but not in your local city (except Benicia and Vallejo).Eligible members may purchase $100 of taxi card funds for $40 ($20 for low-income certified individuals). The ITX cards may be loaded in person or over the phone. To ensure a ride, it is recommended to schedule your ride 48 hours in advance.
ITX card purchases are non-refundable. Limitations apply to the amount of fare you may purchase in any given month and vary from city to city. For a list of funding limits click here.
